Company profile: Explore the beautiful Dales scenery on the native rare breed of cob, the Dales pony. These sturdy and sure footed ponies can negoiate the sometimes very harsh environment in style. From beginners to advanced riders are all catered for from riding breaks staying at the centre in Malham or trail riding stopping at different destinations throughout the Yorkshire Dales National Park. All staff are very friendly and dedicated to making your stay the very best experience and are qualified with British Equestrian Tourism. Whatever the pace, riding on Dales in the Dales is an unbeatable experience.

Destination Profile: Yorkshire Dales Trekking Centre runs treks, trails and riding holidays within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Treks can be of any length from 1/2hr to 7hrs duration. Trails can run from a full day trail to 5 days in the saddle taking in Malhamdale, Wharfedale, Littondale, Ribblesdale, Wensleydale and many more. Riding Holidays cand be made to suit individuals to blend tuition, treks and trails.
About the horses: Our Dales ponies vary in size from 13hh to 15.2hh. They are sizeable weight carrying cobs suitable for all riders up to 14st. They have an unbeatable temperament which makes all riders feel well looked after whilst still being a fun ride for even very experienced riders. All are trained at the centre and some have been bred there, and are well schooled responsive rides.
