Destination Profile: Wild Horse Heaven - The premier horseback adventure ride offered by High Wild & Lonesome. America's wild mustangs run in the wilderness of the Red Desert and you will see them up close, from the back of your own good saddle horse. Elk, hawks, eagles, sage grouse and coyotes are just some of the other wildlife you'll encounter as well. This is western adventure like nothing you've ever seen before. All-women Cowgirl Up! rides are also conducted with the wild horses as well.
About the horses: High Wild & Lonesome Cowboy Adventures are not to be confused with dull “nose to tail” trail rides. Our cavvy is made up of ranch-raised, gentle, energetic, savvy Quarter Horses, that are trail-wise and fun to ride.
