Company profile: Hípica Aguamarga and Finca Los Tigres combine to give you the riding experience of a life time in the rugged coastal landscape of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park, Andalucia, the only real desert in Europe. Ride in the tracks of the Spaghetti Western cowboys, frolic in the sea with your horses or trek quietly through shady canyons.

Destination Profile: Agua Amarga is a sparkling white fishing village of just 200 permanent inhabitants, located in the province of Almería in Andalucia, in the south eastern corner of Spain. Overlooked by the Faro (lighthouse)on top of the Mesa Roldán, Agua Amarga is as picturesque a setting as you’ll find in Spain for a relaxing riding holiday. You ride through Spaghetti Western terrain (the movies were shot here) and on winding trails through the Natural Park to remote beaches, stopping off at tapas restaurants or for a lunch on the beach. After the ride, you can relax in our large pool. Rides are flexible.
About the horses: Our horses are calm, surefooted, sturdy horses, some Lusitano, some crossbreeds, used to riding our trails. We also have ponies for our younger riders
