THE RIDE: Averaging around 25 miles a day, the ride gradually ascends from the ranch at 4,000ft to 9,000ft up in the mountains. You will pass through forests of oak, pine and fir and be delighted by panoramic views at every turn. Every so often the land opens up and you are able to enjoy long canters across wide meadows. All the while your senses can soak up the sights and sounds of rural Mexico.
